English : All about the Rose
Until the mid-20th century, La Colle-sur-Loup was the main town on the Riviera producing scented flowers. In particular, the centifolia rose was cultivated, a flower that is still present in the composition of Chanel n°5. To perpetuate the memory of an activity that made the village famous, every year in the month of May the rose is honored.
This year the theme of roses is “Centifolies”!
Throughout the day, come and enjoy the activities and walks that will take place from 10:00 to 18:00 in different streets of the village.
Our large artisan market will also be present with our local producers so that everyone can find what they are looking for.

Ein festlicher und farbenfroher Tag als Hommage an die gärtnerische Vergangenheit des Dorfes.

Fino alla metà del XX secolo, La Colle-sur-Loup era la principale città della Riviera produttrice di fiori profumati. In particolare veniva coltivata la rosa centifolia, fiore tuttora presente nella composizione di Chanel n°5. Per perpetuare il ricordo di un’attività che rese celebre il paese, ogni anno nel mese di maggio viene onorata la rosa.
Quest’anno il tema delle rose è “Centifolies”!
Durante tutta la giornata, venite a godervi le attività e le passeggiate che si svolgeranno dalle 10:00 alle 18:00 in diverse vie del villaggio.
Sarà presente anche il nostro grande mercato artigianale con i nostri produttori locali affinché ognuno possa trovare ciò che cerca.
