13 ans, 4 mois et 27 jours après la sortie de Polishing Peanuts qui l’a révélé au monde Deluxe, le groupe d’irréductibles moustachues, sort bientôt son 7ème disque. À l’image de ses 6 compositeurs, auteurs et interprètes, ce disque est sportif, mélancolique, boulimique et border-line schizophrène.

Tant dans les thèmes abordés que par les styles qui se mélangent et se succèdent sans transition une fugue classique pour saxophone trône au beau milieu d’une multitude de titres pop-rocky-pop, variété brésilienne ( Windows Open featuring Luizga), punk lézard nostalgique ( Where the f*ck is Jason? featuring Mr.J Medeiros) et même reggae hip-hop ( Caliente featuring Twan Tee) l’éclectisme du répertoire demeure pathologique chez ces sudistes trentenaires et maintenant partiellement darons.

Je précise la situation familiale parce que ce projet, qui est comme le premier bébé de ceux qui sont maintenant parents de vrais êtres humains, a vu ses membres grandir ensemble depuis 2007, et même depuis l’enfance pour le basse bat’ guitare. L’équilibre entre la famille biologique et musicale a été central dans la création de ce disque, qui transpire de questionnements propres à ce moment chamboulant de la vie.

Les 6 moustachues se félicitent d’être encore en grouple après tant de tempêtes personnelles, de sommets gravis avec le cœur leur 7ème album sortira au printemps 2025.Tout public
