Pour introduire la programmation de la saison, centrée sur la représentation de l’invisible, Le Radar invite Sosthène Baran à présenter son travail à travers une exposition personnelle. L’artiste, qui donne à voir des oeuvres à la confluence de la peinture et de la sculpture, s’appuie à la fois sur la science-fiction, le surnaturel et le spirituel. De ces productions, parfois étranges et énigmatiques, se dégage le sentiment à la fois poétique et familier d’une absence devenue présence

To introduce this season’s program, which focuses on the representation of the invisible, Le Radar invites Sosthène Baran to present his work through a solo exhibition. Zur Einführung in das Saisonprogramm, das sich auf die Darstellung des Unsichtbaren konzentriert, lädt Le Radar Sosthène Baran ein, seine Arbeit in einer Einzelausstellung zu präsentieren. Der Künstler, der Werke an der Schnittstelle zwischen Malerei und Skulptur zeigt, stützt sich sowohl auf Science-Fiction als auch auf das Übernatürliche und Spirituelle. Aus diesen manchmal seltsamen und rätselhaften Produktionen geht das zugleich poetische und vertraute Gefühl einer zur Präsenz gewordenen Abwesenheit hervor

Ter introductie van het programma van dit seizoen, dat zich richt op de representatie van het onzichtbare, heeft Le Radar Sosthène Baran uitgenodigd om zijn werk te presenteren in een solotentoonstelling. Het werk van Sosthène Baran bevindt zich op het kruispunt van schilder- en beeldhouwkunst en put uit sciencefiction, het bovennatuurlijke en het spirituele. Deze producties, soms vreemd en raadselachtig, geven aanleiding tot een gevoel dat zowel poëtisch als vertrouwd is, van een afwezigheid die een aanwezigheid is geworden
