EXPOSITION VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES  Lolane Cournez Plombières-les-Bains Vosges

Suite à la priorité donnée aux métiers d’arts par le ministère de la Culture, une résidence intitulée VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES, destinée à développer la mise en réseau des artistes et artisans d’art et le lien avec les habitants, a eu lieu à Plombières-les-Bains de septembre 2024 à janvier 2025.

Au cours de six semaines de présence sur le terrain, les deux artistes en résidence, Kathleen Rethoret et Thomas Fourmond (Atelier Rhizome et Orties), ont construit une œuvre collective aux côtés de Lucas Thiriat, Sophie Turbé, Sophie Le Gac, Denis Drouillet, Bertrand Capus et l’association de broderie « Fil et Détente ». Ensemble, ils ont eu à cœur de :

·transmettre et créer des moments privilégiés avec les habitants autour des méthodes de gravure
·créer des temps d’échanges et recueillir des témoignages afin de baser la création sur les récits des habitants lors de banquets populaires
·réaliser une cartographie sensible ainsi que 60 œuvres individuelles pour créer une exposition collective avec 6 artisans d’art locaux et associations d’art impliqués dans le projet
·dédier des temps de transmission artistique aux structures socio-culturelles et éducatives

Following the priority given to arts and crafts by the French Ministry of Culture, a residency entitled VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES, designed to develop networking between artists and craftspeople and links with local residents, took place in Plombières-les-Bains from September 2024 to January 2025.

Over a six-week period, the two artists-in-residence, Kathleen Rethoret and Thomas Fourmond (Atelier Rhizome et Orties), created a collective work alongside Lucas Thiriat, Sophie Turbé, Sophie Le Gac, Denis Drouillet, Bertrand Capus and the « Fil et Détente » embroidery association. Together, they set out to

-transmit and create special moments with local residents around the methods of engraving
-create opportunities for exchange and gather testimonials, so as to base their creations on the stories told by local residents at popular banquets
-produce a sensitive cartography and 60 individual works to create a collective exhibition with 6 local craftsmen and art associations involved in the project
-dedicate artistic transmission time to socio-cultural and educational structures

Infolge der Priorität, die das Kulturministerium dem Kunsthandwerk einräumte, fand von September 2024 bis Januar 2025 in Plombières-les-Bains eine Residenz mit dem Titel VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES statt, die die Vernetzung von Künstlern und Kunsthandwerkern sowie die Verbindung zu den Einwohnern entwickeln sollte.

Während ihrer sechswöchigen Präsenz vor Ort bauten die beiden Residenzkünstler Kathleen Rethoret und Thomas Fourmond (Atelier Rhizome et Orties) gemeinsam mit Lucas Thiriat, Sophie Turbé, Sophie Le Gac, Denis Drouillet, Bertrand Capus und der Stickereivereinigung « Fil et Détente » ein Gemeinschaftswerk. Gemeinsam war es ihnen ein Anliegen,

-die Vermittlung und Schaffung von besonderen Momenten mit den Einwohnern rund um die Methoden der Stickerei
-Zeiten des Austauschs zu schaffen und Zeugenaussagen zu sammeln, um die Kreation auf die Erzählungen der Einwohner bei Volksbanketten zu stützen
-Eine sensible Kartografie sowie 60 individuelle Werke erstellen, um eine kollektive Ausstellung mit 6 lokalen Kunsthandwerkern und Kunstvereinen, die in das Projekt eingebunden sind, zu schaffen
-Widmung von Zeiten der Kunstvermittlung an soziokulturelle und pädagogische Einrichtungen

In seguito alla priorità data alle arti e ai mestieri dal Ministero della Cultura francese, dal settembre 2024 al gennaio 2025 si è tenuta a Plombières-les-Bains una residenza intitolata VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES, concepita per sviluppare la creazione di reti tra artisti e artigiani e i legami con la popolazione locale.

I due artisti in residenza, Kathleen Rethoret e Thomas Fourmond (Atelier Rhizome et Orties), hanno trascorso sei settimane sul posto, creando un’opera collettiva insieme a Lucas Thiriat, Sophie Turbé, Sophie Le Gac, Denis Drouillet, Bertrand Capus e l’associazione di ricamo « Fil et Détente ». Insieme, si sono proposti di:

-trasmettere e creare momenti speciali con gli abitanti del luogo intorno ai metodi di incisione
-creare occasioni di discussione e di raccolta di testimonianze personali, in modo da basare il processo creativo sulle storie raccontate dagli abitanti del luogo durante i banchetti popolari
-produrre una cartografia sensibile e 60 opere individuali per creare una mostra collettiva con 6 artigiani locali e associazioni artistiche coinvolte nel progetto
-dedicare tempo alla trasmissione artistica a strutture socio-culturali ed educative

A raíz de la prioridad concedida a las artes y oficios por el Ministerio francés de Cultura, se organizó en Plombières-les-Bains, de septiembre de 2024 a enero de 2025, una residencia denominada VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES, destinada a desarrollar la creación de redes entre artistas y artesanos y los vínculos con los residentes locales.

Los dos artistas residentes, Kathleen Rethoret y Thomas Fourmond (Atelier Rhizome et Orties), pasaron seis semanas sobre el terreno creando una obra colectiva junto a Lucas Thiriat, Sophie Turbé, Sophie Le Gac, Denis Drouillet, Bertrand Capus y la asociación de bordado « Fil et Détente ». Juntos, se propusieron

-transmitir y crear momentos especiales con los residentes locales en torno a los métodos de grabado
-crear espacios de debate y recopilación de relatos personales, con el fin de basar el proceso creativo en las historias contadas por los residentes locales en los banquetes populares
-Elaborar una cartografía sensible y 60 obras individuales para crear una exposición colectiva con 6 artesanos locales y asociaciones artísticas implicadas en el proyecto
-dedicar tiempo a la transmisión artística a las estructuras socioculturales y educativas

Naar aanleiding van de prioriteit die het Franse Ministerie van Cultuur geeft aan kunst en ambacht, werd van september 2024 tot januari 2025 in Plombières-les-Bains een residentie gehouden onder de naam VOIE.X ARTISANES ET POPULAIRES, bedoeld om netwerken te ontwikkelen tussen kunstenaars en kunst- en ambachtslieden en banden aan te knopen met de plaatselijke bevolking.

De twee kunstenaars in residentie, Kathleen Rethoret en Thomas Fourmond (Atelier Rhizome et Orties), brachten zes weken door op het terrein en creëerden een collectief werk samen met Lucas Thiriat, Sophie Turbé, Sophie Le Gac, Denis Drouillet, Bertrand Capus en de borduurvereniging « Fil et Détente ». Samen gingen ze op pad om

-het overbrengen en creëren van speciale momenten met buurtbewoners rond de graveermethodes
-mogelijkheden te creëren voor discussie en het verzamelen van persoonlijke verhalen, zodat het creatieve proces gebaseerd kan worden op de verhalen van de lokale bevolking tijdens populaire banketten
-het maken van een gevoelige cartografie en 60 individuele werken om een collectieve tentoonstelling te creëren met 6 lokale ambachtslieden en kunstverenigingen die bij het project betrokken zijn
-tijd besteden aan artistieke overdracht aan sociaal-culturele en educatieve structuren
