Pour la soirée des Musiciens SPEDIDAM, le Limoux Brass Festival est honoré d’accueillir Baptiste Herbin Trio Django ! avec en invitée spéciale Géraldine Laurent.
Ce spectacle vibrant rend hommage à l’illustre Django Reinhardt. Trois artistes d’exception, Baptiste Herbin au saxophone, Sylvain Romano à la contrebasse et André Ceccarelli à la batterie, explorent la musique de Django avec une authenticité remarquable, capturant l’essence de son style tout en y insufflant leur propre touche.
Chaque morceau du projet Django ! » évoque, avec une passion et une virtuosité inégalées, l’époque du génial manouche. Adam Rapa est né et a grandi à Boston, Massachusetts. Il commence la trompette à 11 ans et joue déjà à 18 ans dans de nombreux festivals de jazz à travers le pays et dans tous les grands clubs dont le Blue Note.
De 2001 à 2007, Rapa joue dans le célèbre spectacle de Broadway, Blast ! » lauréat d’un Tony et d’un Emmy Award, mais également dans plusieurs autres spectacles de la même compagnie, soit plus de 2000 représentations en Amérique du Nord, au Japon et au Royaume-Uni.
Depuis lors, il compose et coproduit plusieurs spectacles de musique de cuivres. Il est bien sûr un formidable soliste, une référence au niveau mondial. Professeur soucieux d’être garant d’une transmission de son art, il parcourt le monde pour animer des conférences et master class. C’est dans le même esprit qu’il codéveloppe la marque de trompette LOTUS.

Adam Rapa was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He took up the trumpet at the age of 11, and by 18 was playing at jazz festivals across the country and in all the big clubs, including the Blue Note.
From 2001 to 2007, Rapa performed in the Tony and Emmy Award-winning Broadway show « Blast! », as well as in several other shows with the same company, giving over 2,000 performances in North America, Japan and the UK.
Since then, he has composed and co-produced several brass music shows. He is, of course, a formidable soloist and a worldwide reference. As a teacher committed to passing on his art, he travels the world giving lectures and master classes. In the same spirit, he co-develops the LOTUS trumpet brand.

Diese vibrierende Show ist eine Hommage an den berühmten Django Reinhardt. Die drei Ausnahmekünstler Baptiste Herbin am Saxophon, Sylvain Romano am Kontrabass und André Ceccarelli am Schlagzeug erforschen Djangos Musik mit bemerkenswerter Authentizität, indem sie die Essenz seines Stils einfangen und ihr ihre eigene Note verleihen.
