L’humoriste propose, en occitan et en français, une relecture décalée de l’Histoire, s’appuyant sur ses talents de conteur pour mêler récit, humour et réflexion. À travers cette narration vivante, il s’interroge sur un épisode de l’histoire comment, au 13ème siècle, quelques cinq cents Occitans, croyants, cathares ou non, nobles ou valets, soldats, meuniers, hommes et femmes, pèlerins ou troubadours, ont-ils réussi le pari de s’unir ? Ensemble, ils relèvent alors un défi incroyable tenir tête pendant près de quarante ans au pouvoir royal du Roi de France et à l’autorité religieuse du Pape de Rome. Et si, finalement, bien avant Notre-Dame-des-Landes, Montségur était la première ZAD ?

In Occitan and French, the humorist offers an offbeat retelling of history, using his talents as a storyteller to blend narrative, humor and reflection. Through this lively narrative, he examines an episode in history: how, in the 13th century, did some five hundred Occitans, believers, Cathars or not, nobles or valets, soldiers, millers, men and women, pilgrims or troubadours, manage to unite? Together, they took up the incredible challenge of standing up to the royal power of the King of France and the religious authority of the Pope of Rome for almost forty years. And what if, long before Notre-Dame-des-Landes, Montségur was the first ZAD?
