Chemin de Randonnée N°6 4.5 Km 1 heure 30 (facile). Situé sur la commune de Beaumont, le hameau de Vopillon accueille une remarquable église romane, vestige d’un Prieuré de l’Ordre de Fontevraud fondé en 1140. Ce monastère fut florissant au XIIIème siècle, période où furent réalisées des transformations gothiques et surtout, de peintures murales inscrites à l’inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques. Vous quitterez le hameau par un beau sentier passant tout près d’une fontaine récemment restaurée, pour traverser un bois où se côtoient plantations de résineux, ancienne forêt de chênes, lande, vignes et vergers abandonnés. Le retour se fera depuis l’ancienne voie ferrée, en longeant la rivière l’Osse pour retrouver le moulin de l’ancien monastère.

Hiking trail N°6 4.5 Km 1 hour 30 (easy). Situated in the commune of Beaumont, the hamlet of Vopillon is home to a remarkable Romanesque church, a vestige of a Priory of the Order of Fontevraud founded in 1140. This monastery flourished in the 13th century, a period when Gothic transformations were carried out and, above all, mural paintings were added to the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments. You will leave the hamlet by a beautiful path passing close to a recently restored fountain, to cross a wood where coniferous plantations, old oak forest, moorland, vineyards and abandoned orchards mix. The return journey will be made from the old railway line, following the river Osse to find the mill of the old monastery.

Wanderweg Nr. 6 4,5 km 1 Stunde 30 Minuten (leicht). Der Weiler Vopillon in der Gemeinde Beaumont beherbergt eine bemerkenswerte romanische Kirche, die von einem 1140 gegründeten Priorat des Ordens von Fontevraud übrig geblieben ist. Dieses Kloster blühte im 13. Jahrhundert auf, als gotische Umbauten und vor allem Wandmalereien vorgenommen wurden, die in das Zusatzinventar der historischen Monumente aufgenommen wurden. Sie verlassen den Weiler auf einem schönen Weg, der an einem kürzlich restaurierten Brunnen vorbeiführt, und durchqueren einen Wald, in dem sich Nadelholzplantagen, ein alter Eichenwald, Heide, Weinberge und verlassene Obstgärten befinden. Der Rückweg führt von der alten Eisenbahnlinie aus entlang des Flusses Osse zur Mühle des ehemaligen Klosters.

Situata nel comune di Beaumont, la frazione di Vopillon ospita una notevole chiesa romanica, residuo di un Priorato dell’Ordine di Fontevraud fondato nel 1140. Questo monastero fiorì nel XIII secolo, periodo in cui vennero effettuate trasformazioni gotiche e, soprattutto, vennero aggiunte pitture murali all’inventario supplementare dei Monumenti Storici. Lascerete il borgo attraverso un bel sentiero che passa vicino a una fontana recentemente restaurata, per attraversare un bosco dove si mescolano piantagioni di conifere, un antico bosco di querce, brughiere, vigneti e frutteti abbandonati. Il ritorno avverrà dalla vecchia linea ferroviaria, seguendo il fiume Osse per trovare il mulino dell’antico monastero.

Situada en la comuna de Beaumont, la aldea de Vopillon alberga una notable iglesia románica, vestigio de un Priorato de la Orden de Fontevraud fundado en 1140. Este monasterio floreció en el siglo XIII, periodo en el que se llevaron a cabo transformaciones góticas y, sobre todo, se añadieron pinturas murales al inventario suplementario de Monumentos Históricos. Saldrá de la aldea por un hermoso sendero que pasa cerca de una fuente recientemente restaurada, para atravesar un bosque donde se mezclan plantaciones de coníferas, un antiguo robledal, páramos, viñedos y huertos abandonados. El regreso se hará desde la antigua línea de ferrocarril, siguiendo el río Osse hasta encontrar el molino del antiguo monasterio.
