Aujourd’hui, après des années à tracer son propre chemin, il choisit de raconter cette enfance fondatrice en rendant hommage à Francis Cabrel !
Avant d’écrire ses propres chansons, Bastien Lucas a d’abord grandi en écoutant les chansons de Francis Cabrel. Compagnon de ses premières notes, de la guitare de l’adolescence au piano du conservatoire, Cabrel a marqué son enfance musicale.
Puis Bastien Lucas s’est éloigné pour mieux revenir études au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, plongée dans l’univers des grands compositeurs classiques.

Seul au piano, sans guitare, il revisite ce répertoire avec un regard neuf et intime.
Au fil des chansons et des souvenirs, on croit entendre résonner Bach, Schubert, Debussy ou Satie… et pourtant, c’est toujours du Francis Cabrel.

En levée de rideau de ce concert aura lieu la restitution de l’atelier choral de la semaine précédente.

Now, after years of forging his own path, he chooses to recount that seminal childhood by paying tribute to Francis Cabrel!
Before writing his own songs, Bastien Lucas grew up listening to the songs of Francis Cabrel. From the guitar of his teenage years to the piano of his conservatory days, Cabrel was his musical childhood companion.
Then Bastien Lucas moved away, only to return: studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, immersing himself in the world of the great classical composers.

Alone at the piano, without a guitar, he revisits this repertoire with a fresh, intimate perspective.
As the songs and memories unfold, it’s as if you’re listening to Bach, Schubert, Debussy or Satie? and yet, it’s always Francis Cabrel.

The curtain-raiser to this concert will be the feedback from the previous week’s choral workshop.
