Quarante-cinq ans après la disparition du Festival des arts de Chiraz-Persépolis, le chorégraphe iranien et désormais basé à Berlin Armin Hokmi imagine sa renaissance à travers la danse. Sur scène, sept interprètes tissent inlassablement des motifs de mouvements, s’enroulant et se déroulant au rythme envoûtant d’une bande sonore captivante. Leurs gestes minimalistes, exécutés avec rigueur et subtilité, créent des trajectoires fluides qui les réunissent en constellations éphémères. Cette performance transporte le public dans un autre temps et un autre lieu, évoquant l’essence même du festival originel. Entre hommage et réinvention, Shiraz fait dialoguer passé et présent dans une expérience sensorielle et immersive. Armin Hokmi est un artiste à découvrir d’urgence !

Forty-five years after the demise of the Shiraz-Persepolis Arts Festival, Berlin-based Iranian choreographer Armin Hokmi imagines its rebirth through dance. On stage, seven performers tirelessly weave patterns of movement, winding and unwinding to the bewitching rhythm of a captivating soundtrack. Their minimalist gestures, executed with rigor and subtlety, create fluid trajectories that unite them in ephemeral constellations. This performance transports the audience to another time and place, evoking the very essence of the original festival. Somewhere between homage and reinvention, Shiraz brings together past and present in an immersive, sensory experience. Armin Hokmi is an artist to discover!
