Profondément inspirée par la philosophie orientale, la chorégraphe Xie Xin crée deux nouvelles œuvres mettant en dialogue les partitions iconiques d’Erik Satie et Igor Stravinsky avec sa gestuelle poétique. Ces deux œuvres explorent la dualité entre douceur et puissance, légèreté et pesanteur, à travers la réinterprétation de deux univers contrastés.
In Satie fusionne romantisme français et mysticisme oriental, nous plongeant dans une atmosphère subtile et envoûtante. Les Gymnopédies et Gnossiennes y sont réagencées et enrichies par un dialogue délicat entre vibraphone et piano.
Dans une seconde partie, The Rite of Spring exploite la puissance des percussions et des frappes de piano pour conférer une intensité physique et visuelle à la musique. Xie Xin transforme son impuissance face aux forces de la nature en une force de survie et d’humanité, portée par la conviction qu’il faut faire face à la mort pour embrasser la vie . La danse devient alors un langage visuel et corporel qui transcende la musique, exprimant à la fois la résilience face à l’adversité et la renaissance après l’épreuve.

Deeply inspired by oriental philosophy, choreographer Xie Xin has created two new works that bring together the iconic scores of Erik Satie and Igor Stravinsky with her own poetic gestures. These two works explore the duality between gentleness and power, lightness and heaviness, through the reinterpretation of two contrasting worlds.
In Satie fuses French Romanticism and Oriental mysticism, plunging us into a subtle, spellbinding atmosphere. The Gymnopédies and Gnossiennes are rearranged and enriched by a delicate dialogue between vibraphone and piano.
In the second part, The Rite of Spring exploits the power of percussion and piano strokes to lend a physical and visual intensity to the music. Xie Xin transforms her powerlessness in the face of the forces of nature into a force for survival and humanity, driven by the conviction that we must « face death to embrace life ». Dance becomes a visual and corporeal language that transcends music, expressing both resilience in the face of adversity and rebirth after hardship.
Between poetry and intensity, In Satie and The Rite of Spring invites us to reflect on the cycle of life, where each destruction holds the promise of renewal.

Die Choreografin Xie Xin, die tief von der östlichen Philosophie inspiriert ist, kreiert zwei neue Werke, in denen sie die ikonischen Partituren von Erik Satie und Igor Strawinsky mit ihren poetischen Gesten in einen Dialog setzt. Diese beiden Werke erforschen die Dualität zwischen Sanftheit und Kraft, Leichtigkeit und Schwere durch die Neuinterpretation zweier kontrastierender Welten.
In Satie verschmilzt französische Romantik mit orientalischer Mystik und lässt uns in eine subtile und betörende Atmosphäre eintauchen. Die Gymnopédies und Gnossiennes werden hier neu arrangiert und durch einen zarten Dialog zwischen Vibraphon und Klavier bereichert.
In einem zweiten Teil nutzt The Rite of Spring die Kraft von Schlagzeug und Klavieranschlägen, um der Musik eine physische und visuelle Intensität zu verleihen. Questi due lavori esplorano la dualità tra dolcezza e potenza, leggerezza e pesantezza, attraverso la reinterpretazione di due mondi contrastanti.
In Satie si fondono il romanticismo francese e il misticismo orientale, immergendoci in un’atmosfera sottile e incantata. Le Gymnopédies e le Gnossiennes sono riarrangiate e arricchite da un delicato dialogo tra vibrafono e pianoforte.
