Après son ébouriffante version de West Side Story, The Amazing Keystone Big Band est de retour à Aix pour célébrer à sa manière George Gershwin dans une love story qui emballe sec.
Quand l’Amazing Keystone rend hommage, il n’y va pas sur la pointe des notes. Après Django, Ella et Quincy, le Hall of Fame du Big Band accueille désormais George et ses célèbres chansons d’amour, dans une version grand orchestre savamment reboostée. Sous la direction artistique de Bastien Ballaz (trombone), Fred Nardin (piano), Jon Bouteiller (saxophone) et David Enhco (trompette), les 17 musiciens, accompagnés des chanteurs Pablo Campos et Hewane Charzat, font pétiller l’œuvre de Gershwin au gré d’arrangements aussi festifs que soignés. Une chose est sûre le band de joyeux drilles sait faire chanter les cuivres. 10  EUR.
