Depuis les années 1990, la lutte contre l’obésité est au cœur des politiques de sensibilisation en santé publique. Pourtant, l’obésité n’est pas qu’une affaire de volonté individuelle. Cette conférence vise à interroger les stéréotypes associés à l’obésité, plus particulièrement sur les facteurs socio-économiques, culturels et biographiques qui influencent le rapport au corps, à l’alimentation et à la santé.Avec Tatiana Botteau, doctorante en sociologie de la santé au laboratoire TETRAS (UL).

Since the 1990s, the fight against obesity has been at the heart of public health awareness policies. Yet obesity is not just a matter of individual willpower. The aim of this conference is to examine the stereotypes associated with obesity, and in particular the socio-economic, cultural and biographical factors that influence people’s relationship with their bodies, food and health.with Tatiana Botteau, PhD student in health sociology at the TETRAS laboratory (UL).

Seit den 1990er Jahren steht die Bekämpfung der Fettleibigkeit im Mittelpunkt der Aufklärungspolitik im Bereich der öffentlichen Gesundheit. Dennoch ist Fettleibigkeit nicht nur eine Sache des individuellen Willens.
