Tarbes renoue avec les traditions et propose la 5ème édition du Carnaval bigourdan de Tarbes !

Les équipes de Tarbes Tourisme, accompagnées de Cinthia Peyret, déléguée au Carnaval, ont travaillé au renouveau du Carnaval et vous invitent à venir rencontrer Esquivat, Roi du Carnaval, entouré de sa garde rapprochée et de sa cour Royale.

Suivez le Roi Esquivat dans son incroyable aventure de la remise des clés, au réveil des ours, à son arrestation… jusqu’à son grand final enflammé !
Un seul mot d’ordre venez nombreux et déguisés !

AU PROGRAMME
14h Rassemblement sur la Place du Foirail (Halle)
14h30 Départ du cortège
15h Arrivée sur la Place de l’Hôtel de ville et remise des clés au Roi Carnaval + animations musicales
16h Départ du cortège vers la rue Maréchal Foch à contre-sens, Place de Verdun, Rue Brauhauban jusqu’à l’arrière du Tribunal
17h Arrestation du Roi Carnaval derrière le Tribunal
17h15 Condamnation du Roi Carnaval sur la Place de la Mairie
17h30 Crémation du Roi Carnaval sur la Place de la Mairie
18h Fin du Carnaval

Tarbes gets back in touch with tradition with the 5th Tarbes Bigourdan Carnival!

Teams from Tarbes Tourisme, along with Cinthia Peyret, Carnival delegate, have been working on the revival of the Carnival and invite you to come and meet Esquivat, King of Carnival, surrounded by his bodyguard and his royal court.

Follow King Esquivat on his incredible adventure: from the handing over of the keys, to the awakening of the bears, to his arrest? right up to his fiery finale!
All you have to do is turn up in force and in fancy dress!

ON THE PROGRAM
2pm: Gather at Place du Foirail (Halle)
2:30 pm: Departure of the procession
3pm: Arrival at Place de l?Hôtel de Ville and presentation of keys to the Carnival King + musical entertainment
4pm: Departure of the procession towards rue Maréchal Foch, Place de Verdun, Rue Brauhauban to the back of the Courthouse
5pm: Carnival King arrested behind the courthouse
5:15pm: Sentencing of the Carnival King on Place de la Mairie
5:30pm: Cremation of the Carnival King on Place de la Mairie
6pm: End of Carnival
