En suivant l’anneau vert, vous évoluez sur les hauteurs, entre paysages ouverts et nature préservée.
Dès le départ, la basilique, les croix et l’exposition permanente de la Cité des Paysages donnent le ton.
L’éperon Saint-Joseph offre un premier regard sur les reliefs du Saintois.
Le parcours mène ensuite vers Vaudémont, village chargé d’histoire et de caractère.
En chemin, le monument Barrès, les vestiges de Brunehaut et d’autres éléments patrimoniaux jalonnent l’itinéraire.

Leaving from Saxon-Sion, the historic circuit invites you to take a stroll through panoramas and memories of the area.
Following the green ring, you’ll find yourself on the heights, between open landscapes and unspoilt nature.
Right from the start, the basilica, crosses and permanent exhibition at the Cité des Paysages set the tone.
The Saint-Joseph spur offers a first glimpse of the Saintois landscape.
The route then leads to Vaudémont, a village steeped in history and character.
Along the way, the Barrès monument, the remains of Brunehaut and other heritage features mark out the route.
Three viewpoints punctuate the walk, offering superb perspectives.
Between altitude, nature and heritage, the circuit offers a rich and varied discovery.
Accessible by mountain bike or on horseback, it can be adapted to a variety of riding styles.
An 11 km loop to be completed in around 3h15, ideal for combining culture and the great outdoors.
