Die Route führt durch das Gebiet des Regionalparks Grands Causses und bietet Ihnen bei der Überquerung der zahlreichen Pässe herrliche Panoramen. Vom Col de Marcou bis zum Col du Coustel wandern Sie auf einer Höhe von fast 1000 m. Am Ende der Etappe können Sie in Fagairolles das Ökomuseum besichtigen, eine echte Einführung in die Fauna und Flora des Massivs Caroux Espinouse.
