Organisé avec la Société d’Étude des Sciences Naturelles de Béziers, la grotte de Pousselières, avec une cavité exceptionnelle, est connue de longue date par les spéléologues. Les travaux de recherches ont repris ces dernières années sous l’égide de l’Association Spéléo-Club d’Olargues pour aider à la compréhension du réseau karstique souterrain et faciliter la recherche d’eau pour l’alimentation de la commune de Ferrières-Poussarou.   .
