Trois femmes. Trois générations. Trois âges de la vie liés à la terre, au vivant, et à ce qui nous relie à nos fondations, nos morts et nos héritages.
Ma mère, jardinière infatigable, cultive la terre avec amour, persévérance et une patience infinie.
Ma fille, adolescente en quête de sens, grandit, rêve et se construit.
Et moi, entre elles deux, j’écris des histoires pour les vivants, toujours connectée aux morts, aux racines, à l’invisible.

Dans “Paysages souterrains”, nous interrogeons ce lien précieux à nos fondements comment la terre, nourricière et refuge, soigne nos blessures, traverse les générations, et transforme nos angoisses en promesses d’avenir. Chaque génération porte son lot de doutes, de souffrances, mais aussi d’espoirs. Ensemble, nous nous soutenons. Ensemble, nous cultivons.
Trois récits qui se croisent et se répondent, traversant le cycle des saisons comme une métaphore du cycle de la vie.

Leur lien réel, leur état d’être, leur différence de génération fondent le cœur même du projet.
Ce choix affirme un théâtre vivant, incarné, à hauteur du réel, pensé pour aller à la rencontre d’un public adolescent. Un théâtre où le vrai, le brut, le sensible deviennent matériaux de fiction.
L’écriture textuelle de Karin Serres, l’écriture de plateau sous l’œil de Marie Denys, et le regard chorégraphique de Marie Cambois s’entrelacent pour faire émerger un théâtre du vivant…Tout public

Three women. Three generations. Three stages of life connected to the earth, to living things, and to what ties us to our roots, our ancestors, and our legacies.
My mother, a tireless gardener, tends the earth with love, perseverance, and infinite patience.
My daughter, a teenager searching for meaning, is growing up, dreaming, and finding her way.
And I, between the two of them, write stories for the living, always connected to the dead, to our roots, and to the invisible.

In *Paysages souterrains*, we explore this precious bond at the very foundation of our being: how the earth—our nurturer and refuge—heals our wounds, spans generations, and transforms our anxieties into promises for the future. Each generation carries its own share of doubts, suffering, but also hopes. Together, we support one another. Together, we cultivate.
Three stories that intersect and echo one another, moving through the cycle of the seasons as a metaphor for the cycle of life.

Their real connection, their state of being, and their generational differences form the very heart of the project.
This choice affirms a living, embodied theater—one that is grounded in reality and designed to connect with a teenage audience. A theater where the real, the raw, and the sensitive become the raw materials of fiction.
