Guitariste reconnu sur la scène française et internationale, Tristan Manoukian se produira à Fontfroide dans le prolongement de l’enregistrement de son nouvel album réalisé à l’abbaye. À cette occasion, il sera rejoint par le guitariste Rémi Jousselme, formant un duo inédit réunissant deux artistes aux parcours remarquables, tous deux concertistes confirmés. Pensé en dialogue avec l’exposition Symphonies décoratives consacrée à Gustave Fayet, ce concert à deux guitares explorera les correspondances entre musique, décor et esprit de Fontfroide, prolongeant une réflexion sensible autour du patrimoine et de la création. Le programme, riche et contrasté, fera dialoguer le répertoire espagnol et français du tournant du XXᵉ siècle — avec des œuvres d’Albéniz, Falla, Granados, Satie et Debussy — et des esthétiques plus contemporaines, allant de Meredith Monk à Béla Bartók, ainsi que des compositions de Tristan Manoukian.
À travers cette création originale pour duo, le concert invitera le public à une expérience d’écoute intimement liée au lieu, où héritage artistique et écriture actuelle se répondent avec subtilité.

Tristan Manoukian, a guitarist renowned on the French and international scene, will perform at Fontfroide as a follow-up to the recording of his new album at the abbey. On this occasion, he will be joined by guitarist Rémi Jousselme, forming an original duo of two artists with remarkable careers, both confirmed concert performers. Conceived in dialogue with the Symphonies décoratives exhibition devoted to Gustave Fayet, this two-guitar concert will explore the connections between music, décor and the spirit of Fontfroide, extending a sensitive reflection on heritage and creation. The program, rich in contrasts, will bring together Spanish and French repertoire from the turn of the 20th century ? with works by Albéniz, Falla, Granados, Satie and Debussy ? and more contemporary aesthetics, from Meredith Monk to Béla Bartók, as well as compositions by Tristan Manoukian.
Through this original creation for duo, the concert will invite the audience to a listening experience intimately linked to the site, where artistic heritage and contemporary writing respond with subtlety.
