Le compositeur Marc-Olivier Dupin s’est prêté à l’exercice audacieux de créer une musique nouvelle sur une trilogie de courts-métrages datant du début des années 1920. Cent ans séparent donc la réalisation des films de la composition de la musique l’occasion de rappeler l’intemporalité de cet artiste unique qu’était Buster Keaton, à la fois cascadeur et poète, véritable génie du burlesque qui, à l’instar de Charlie Chaplin, a marqué durablement l’histoire du 7ème art.

Composer Marc-Olivier Dupin took on the daring task of creating a new score for a trilogy of short films dating back to the early 1920s. One hundred years separate the making of the films from the composition of the music: an opportunity to recall the timelessness of the unique artist that was Buster Keaton, both stuntman and poet, a true burlesque genius who, like Charlie Chaplin, left a lasting mark on the history of the 7th art.
