Les chambristes de l’OPS
Ce sont huit musiciens de l’Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg qui nous offrent ce programme. Dans son Octuor qu’il compose en 1824, Schubert laisse transparaître une variété d’émotions allant de la bonne humeur la plus irrésistible au pathétique le plus profond. Cette profondeur schubertienne sera précédée des facéties d’un espiègle luron tel que le dépeint dans son poème symphonique Richard Strauss, en 1895, revisité par Franz Hasenöhrl.

The chamber musicians of the OPS
Eight musicians from the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg present this program. In his Octet, composed in 1824, Schubert reveals a variety of emotions, from the most irresistible good humor to the most profound pathos. This Schubertian profundity is preceded by the mischief of a mischievous luron, as depicted in Richard Strauss?s 1895 symphonic poem, revisited by Franz Hasenöhrl.

Dieses Programm wird von acht Musikern des Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg dargeboten. In seinem 1824 komponierten Oktett lässt Schubert eine Vielzahl von Emotionen durchscheinen, die von unwiderstehlich gut gelaunt bis hin zu tiefstem Pathos reichen. Vor dieser Schubertschen Tiefe steht der Schabernack eines schelmischen Lurons, wie ihn Richard Strauss in seiner Sinfonischen Dichtung aus dem Jahr 1895 in der Bearbeitung von Franz Hasenöhrl beschreibt.
