Cette randonnée est la rencontre du patrimoine, de la nature et de l’Histoire. Les chemins sont de bonne qualité, ils offrent de superbes points de vue. Le patrimoine bâti est riche et varié, que ce soit au départ de Varzy, ville étape sur les chemins de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, ou sur l’itinéraire, avec des édifices religieux consacrés au pèlerinage et une voie gallo-romaine. Sans oublier dans le village d’Oudan, le lavoir, l’église et l’étang construit pour le flottage du bois.

This hike is where heritage, nature and history meet. The paths are of good quality, offering superb views. The built heritage is rich and varied, both at the start of Varzy, a stopover town on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, and along the route, with religious buildings dedicated to pilgrimage and a Gallo-Roman road. And don’t forget the village of Oudan, with its washhouse, church and pond built for timber floating.
