Soirée La Nuit en Fanfare , Saison culturelle du Département de l’Aude le Mercredi 29 Juillet sur la place Mgr de Langle et jardin de l’abbaye.

Au programme:
– 19h La Fanfare Toto , fanfare de Toulouse, puisant ses forces dans un répertoire éclectique, où se côtoient Jacques Tati, Ludwig Von Beethoven, Richard Galliano ou Sidney Bechet, la glorieuse fanfare saura vous surprendre par une fantaisie de l’instant quasiment instinctive !
– 21h Projection du court-métrage d’animation Au premier dimanche d’août, de Florence
Miailhe. Un petit village dans le sud de la France un soir d’été ; les danseurs de tous âges se révèlent lors du bal qui se prolonge tard dans la nuit. César du meilleur court métrage en 2002.
– 21h30 Projection du film En fanfare, d’Emmanuel Courcol, 2024. Thibaut (Benjamin Lavernhe), chef d’orchestre star et mondialisé, découvre qu’il a un frère, Jimmy
(Pierre Lottin), employé de cantine dans une petite ville du Nord et tromboniste dans une fanfare. Tout les oppose sauf la musique, figurant dans leur capital génétique. Ils se révèlent complémentaires, et même indispensables l’un à l’autre, construisant des ponts tout en restant chacun sur sa rive.
Les projections en plein-air sont assurées par Ciném’Aude. Foodtrucks sur place.

La Nuit en Fanfare Evening, part of the Aude Department’s Cultural Season, on Wednesday, July 29, at Place Mgr de Langle and the Abbey Gardens.

On the program:
– 7:00 p.m.: La Fanfare Toto, a brass band from Toulouse, drawing its inspiration from an eclectic repertoire that brings together Jacques Tati, Ludwig van Beethoven, Richard Galliano, and Sidney Bechet. This glorious brass band will surprise you with an almost instinctive, spontaneous performance!
– 9:00 p.m.: Screening of the animated short film *Au premier dimanche d’août* (The First Sunday in August), by Florence
Miailhe. A small village in the south of France on a summer evening; dancers of all ages let loose at the dance, which goes on late into the night. Winner of the César Award for Best Short Film in 2002.
– 9:30 p.m.: Screening of the film *En fanfare*, by Emmanuel Courcol, 2024. Thibaut (Benjamin Lavernhe), a world-famous star conductor, discovers he has a brother, Jimmy
(Pierre Lottin), a cafeteria worker in a small town in northern France and a trombonist in a marching band. Everything sets them apart except for music, which is part of their genetic makeup. They turn out to be complementary—and even indispensable to one another—building bridges while each remains on their own side of the river.
The outdoor screenings are presented by Ciném’Aude. Food trucks on site.
