Au cours de mes 40 années en tant que musicien itinérant, j’ai appris que les théâtres sont de bons endroits pour exercer cet acte à la fois excitant et effrayant qui est de monter sur scène devant un public. Je sais qu’il y a un rideau rouge et lourd qui étouffe la rumeur du monde extérieur et ses actualités sans fin ; qu’il y a un public qui s’est soigneusement préparé pour ce rendez-vous et amène le plus précieux des biens son attention ! Stephan Eicher avait depuis longtemps envie de prolonger le temps de la scène, au-delà d’une soirée de concert. Il avait des envies de théâtre. Il a donc créé ce seul en scène, à mi-chemin entre concert solo chanté et monologue parlé, dans lequel il revisite ses plus grands tubes.

Stephan Eicher had long wanted to extend his time on stage beyond a single concert evening. He had a desire to explore theater. So he created this one-man show—halfway between a solo singing concert and a spoken monologue—in which he revisits his greatest hits.
