SOLEDAD BROTHERS (Rock – US)
SOLEDAD BROTHERS groupe mythique de Maumee ( ohio ) proche banlieue de Detroit sont de retour en Europe pour répandre leur évangile révolutionnaire unique de la Rust Belt R&B. Ce sera la première fois qu’ils reviendront sur le sol européen ensemble en tant que groupe depuis 20 ans.
Les Soledad Brothers ont longtemps été associés au renouveau du garage rock à Détroit au début des années 2000, et ont ouvert la voie à des groupes comme The White Stripes, The Detroit Cobras, The Dirtbombs, et d’autres, issus des mêmes racines enflammées, de la même culture locale, mais suivant leur propre chemin. Influencés par John Lee Hooker, The Gun Club, Hound Dog Taylor, ou Sister Rosetta Thorpe ainsi que des influences plus éloignées comme The Fall et des pionniers du free jazz comme Albert Ayler ; sur le plan sonore, tout cela se présente avec un son bien à eux, une perspicacité politique et des contours non explorés par leur contemporains. L’énergie de leurs lives encensés n’a pas diminué d’un iota dans les années qui ont suivi, la colère brûle plus fort que jamais et la scène se réchauffe davantage.

LAS ROBERTAS (Psych Pop Rock – Costa rica)
Basé à San José, au Costa Rica, le groupe s’est formé en 2009 et depuis, il se produit et tourne au Costa Rica et à l’étranger, notamment dans des festivals comme NRMAL (Mexique), Levitation (Austin, TX), Coachella (Indio Valley, CA), Rock al Parque (Bogota, Colombie), Primavera Sound (Barcelone), entre autres. Le groupe a sorti 4 LP et 2 EP aux États-Unis, au Mexique et en Espagne. Son dernier album, « Love is the Answer », est sorti en février 2023 sur Kanine Records (USA).
« Love is the Answer » est une compilation de neuf chansons sur l’amour de l’univers, la liberté individuelle et l’espoir, à une époque où le monde semble toujours plus proche de sombrer dans le chaos. Les influences du groupe pour cet album sont The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, The Charlatans, Lush, Ride et The Breeders.
L’album a été produit, enregistré, mixé et masterisé par le producteur gallois Owen Morris, qui a déjà travaillé avec des groupes comme Oasis, The Verve, Ash, Kaiser Chiefs et Madness. Le groupe et Owen ont commencé à travailler ensemble après leur rencontre au Costa Rica.
Pendant qu’ils passaient du temps ensemble, une grande alchimie s’est produite entre le groupe et Owen, et ils ont fini par collaborer pour « Love is the Answer ». L’enregistrement de l’album a commencé à Hermosillo, Sonora (Mexique) et s’est terminé à Santa Ana, Costa Rica.

SO MANY PEOPLE (Britpop – Bordeaux)
Au croisement des instincts mélodiques de la Britpop, de l’énergie du post-punk et de la sensibilité de Radiohead & Jeff Buckley, So Many People invoque un univers atmosphérique teinté d’émotions et d’explosivité.
Le groupe s’attache à renouer avec une dimension du live plus humaine et envisage sa musique comme un vecteur d’inclusion. So Many People est lauréat de plusieurs tremplins de Nouvelle- Aquitaine (Scènes Croisées et Climax 2024) et a joué dans des salles comme la Rock School Barbey, la cave d’Allez les Filles, le Royal ou encore la Mac 3. Le groupe a sorti son premier EP en avril 2025.
